We finished locating what we thought was the trace of the Atlantic leopard, so we descended from the mountaintops to the city of Zawiya al-Sheikh, located on the famous Sultania Road, linking the traditional capitals of Morocco: Fez, Marrakesh and Meknes, and on the corridor of trade caravans extending from the south through Tafilalet and between central and northern Morocco. In this episode, we will stand on the landmarks of its ancient history that struggle with the calamities of time, some of which are about to fall and others have been destroyed, while most of the remaining landmarks are groaning in silence, waiting for someone to shake off the dust of oblivion.
