-Asa Palace -Second Travel
Broadcast date May 30, 2008
During the days of the annual Asa season, which coincides with the Prophet's birthday, the Amodo program traveled to the city of Asa, in order to learn about the process of restoring its palace and to witness the celebrations of this happy religious occasion.
Like other seasons, this gathering is characterized by the religious character that is bestowed upon it by the frequent recitation of the Qur’an and the repetition of dhikrs and prophetic praises. The corner spaces are also used to establish a commercial market where visitors from all tribes flock.
The idea of restoring Assa Palace is a beginning that bodes well for a bright future. This residential complex, which is among the historical monuments of the Kingdom, is a model for the many Moroccan palaces that are waiting to be turned around and pulled out of indifference and oblivion.
