61 Amodo: Episode
Amasin part two
Broadcast date Friday 02 November 2007
Amodo's tour continues throughout the village of Amasin, reaching stations that require standing, as they are mainstays in the history of the village.
In this episode, Mr. Omar, one of the residents of the village, leads us to the Al-Mallah neighborhood, to stand on the houses that were inhabited by the Jews,
و على معبدهم الذي كان مقرا لاجتماعات أعيانهم ، زيادة على كونه المكان المخصص لصلواتهم.
After that, we will visit the corner of Utahdut in the village, and its treasury, which has been neglected, after it was the destination of every desire to satisfy his intellectual greed.
Finally, we end our tour by entering an impenetrable fortress, which was built in the village since the nineteenth century, to serve as a watchtower, a storehouse for its savings and valuables, as well as a seat where sessions are held to consider issues of the population and resolve their disputes.
Amasin, like all the ancient Atlantic villages, embodies an ancient civilized history and an authentic architectural character that has become a duty to revive and preserve.
Is it a gesture that restores her hopes?
