After a long wait of thirteen days, the convoy resumed its journey. But instead of heading south, it walked towards the north to keep track of its tracks, after it traveled about fifteen kilometers in the opposite direction, it returned to take the right direction leading to the goal. Awena Ait Ossa is a village that bears witness to its exploits and the statements of its people that it was abundant with water, grass and beast, and that the drought that has befallen it today, and the effects of need and poverty on its face, are due to the ferocity of the struggle that it waged in order to continue life, as a result of changing conditions and climate.
