In order to assess the Moroccan environmental and forest product, and to protect its beasts, birds and plants, the state has established several national parks that are added to its tourism product.

Souss-Massa Park is one of these national parks. Its wetlands have classified the Souss-Massa Valley on the Ramsar List of Wetlands of Great Importance.
