Broadcast date Friday December 21, 2007

In the arms of the Middle High Atlas Mountains, where man is still clinging to his land, we were guests of the people of the Ait Mergad tribe, one of the ancient Atlantic tribes.

We happened to be with this family, on the day of Eid al-Adha, and it was an opportunity to share this occasion with them and to learn about the rituals and customs accompanying their sacrifice ceremonies. It was also an opportunity to learn about the life that this family lives, away from civilization and urbanization.

Through the dialogue conducted by the Amodo team with the members of this family, it became clear that their aspirations fluctuate between their desire to change their situation.
