A wet point in the middle of a dry arid space, placed by man between the Atlas Mountains, to form one of the lakes of the Youssef Ibn Tashfin Dam.
A place where birds nested on the cliffs, weeds and herbs grew on its sides, and insects and animals were attracted to it, and it became a fertile ground for many creatures to live.
Here Amodo walked in search of a submerged tree that became the title of the place.
A tree resorted to the heights to escape the tyranny of man, and became afraid of being visible. What this mighty did against her, and against nature, by uprooting trees and changing the course of rivers, is a crime as clear as day.
It is Aggal, the dragon tree that has accompanied man's presence on the Atlas for thousands of years.
